These are exciting times at The Salvation Army as we launch a significant digital and business transformation. We are in the midst of revolutionizing our core capabilities to maximize service and mission outcomes. This will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehouse.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the assessment and optimization of enterprise finance systems. This role will work closely with finance and ERP capability leaders to migrate the current on-prem ERP system to a cloud-based solution ensuring alignment with finance system capabilities and organizational strategies, redesign system integrations according to data privacy and security requirements.

This is a 12-month project-based contract role.

What you will be doing:

Finance System Implementation & Integration

  • Lead technical requirements gathering and process design sessions with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Drive finance ERP system migration to ensure acceptance criteria is met according to success factors
  • Identify pain points in finance operations and propose scalable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams to ensure all project deliverables are completed successfully

Stakeholder Communication & Change Management

  • Act as a bridge between finance, IT, and leadership teams, ensuring alignment on financial system improvements.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and prototypes to key stakeholders.
  • Influence senior leaders with data-driven insights and strategic proposals.
  • Develop and manage change initiatives, ensuring successful system adoption across finance teams.

What you bring to the table:

  • 7+ years' hands on experience with business analyst functions supporting Finance Systems in complex organizations
  • Deep understanding of finance processes and enterprise finance systems (BusinessWorld, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.)
  • Non-profit experience is an asset
  • Experience in financial process automation, compliance, and reporting.
  • Strong skills in business case development, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Proficiency in Agile and SDLC methodologies for finance system projects.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $97,656 (min.) to $122,070 (mid.). Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
